The Isle of Man has announced the sports that will make up the 2029 Island Games. It is expected that the International Island Games Committee (IIGA) will confirm the Isle of Man as the official host in July, having made it the preferred bidder. Childcare Credit Scheme backed by Tynwald
More parents will qualify for help towards early years education and childcare costs after a new scheme was backed by Tynwald on Wednesday. The Childcare Credit Scheme 2024 will replace the Pre-School Credit Scheme, which had been in place since 2012. More than 240 young people have received their bronze or silver Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Award at a special ceremony in Douglas on Tuesday.
